The Norman Hotel Hosts Family Fun Day For Kids
The Norman Hotel in Woolloongabba is fondly known as the worse vegetarian restaurant due to the scrumptious steaks served up every day from the Australian Steakhouse and Garden Bar. If you are a person who loves your beef, the Norman Hotel is the place to be.
The hotel's history commences back in 1885 when a Mr Robert Heaslop purchased two lots of land in Woolloongabba with the dream of erecting a grand hotel and naming it Sir Henry Norman after the newly appointed Governor of Queensland. A few years later in 1896, Heaslop leased the hotel before selling it to brewing company Perkins & Co. The hotel remained relatively the same until in 1987 when it was purchased by the Cavill Family, who proceeded to erect a beer garden and outdoor dining area. Today, the Norman Hotel is owned by the Power Family, a family steeped in the hospitality industry since the 1930s.
This Sunday and every Sunday through December, the Norman Hotel is hosting Kids Calf Club Family Fun Day from Noon through to 3.00 pm. There will be a variety of fun activities for the children including Kids Calf Club activities and face painting. Kids also receive free ice-cream and soft drink refills as well as taking home a Kids Calf Club Drinking Cup.
Why not book a table for the family on these fun Sundays; ask to be seated in the Garden close to the Kids Calf Club Corner. The Norman Hotel is located at 102 Ipswich Road, Woolloongabba and if you require more information, please call 07 3391 5022.
