On Sunday 30th October 2016, the Overnewton Castle will become a children's wonderland. Set amid the enchanting English Garden, the Heritage listed, Old World Tudor Castle is the perfect backdrop for a family picnic or even a birthday party.
Children will simply adore the jumping castle, pony rides, mini zoo, face painting, mini circus and amusement rides, while the grown-ups stroll the manicured lawn and enjoy the elegant, tranquil surrounds and carefully maintained grandeur of the castle. There will be other activities on offer too, and most will be included in the cost of entry. In addition to the free activities, there will be a small number of stalls offering items for sale.
Kids are invited to come in fancy dress. Dress as a fairy or your favourite superhero character, anything you like. Guests are also welcome to bring their own picnic hamper of goodies. Alternatively, you will be able to purchase food on the day. There will be plenty of space to throw down a picnic blanket and simply while away a pleasant afternoon.
In previous years the Kids at the Castle Day has been a popular birthday party location, not least for the free amusements. Send out your invitations early and gather family and friends for a birthday party you won't soon forget.
Kids at the Castle Day is being held on Sunday 30th October 2016 from 10am to 3pm. Tickets are priced at $12.50 per person and can be purchased through TryBooking. You will find the link both on the Overnewton Castle website and Facebook Event Page, or by phoning 9331 6367.
