Awesome Activities You Can Take The Kids
Easter Holidays are approaching very fast. If you are planning on attending ticketed events now is the time to secure your spot. If you are winging it with the kids its good to have some ideas in your mind for rainy days - if we actually get any rain.
Easter is always a busy time in Brisbane with families taking advantage of the spring weather, it's the nicest time of the year to be out and about.
2. Kid Skills - MAKE CREATIONS FROM HOUSEHOLD JUNK
When? Saturday April 8th
From The Event Organisers: Put down your iPads and try something new these school holidays. Boys and girls will love this hands-on workshop where they can hammer, nail, glue and build cool stuff. And parents might learn a few things too!!
This holidays, She Skills are getting the kids involved! For more information on the She Skills Kid's course visit HERE
It's FREE! Pack a picnic and visit a local park or playground. Here are a few playgrounds in the Redlands Area, south of Brisbane.
Fellmonger Park - Take the walk to Apex Park where you will find Playground equipment including a flying fox and BMX track. Victoria Point Cascades- The perfect spot for a picnic, right next door to a skate & BMX track. GJ Walter Park - A small park by the water with lots of shade.
If you are closer to the city enjoy a trip to South Bank and visit one of Brisbane's premiere playgrounds. South Bank has the additional bonus of being able to have a swim, which you might need if this glorious QLD weather keeps up!
