Ever wondered how Colonel Sanders put the chi in chicken?

G'day,

If you're anything like me, KFC is a guilty pleasure. Whether it's quick detour on the way home, one of those evenings you just couldn't be bothered, or even for a party, KFC fits the bill for fast, tasty, and dish-free.

It's obvious that KFC isn't "health food", and not quite a staple. And for people like me who have digestive issues, generally not "recommended". However, I've always wondered whether I'm too cynical. And given their ever-extending menu, (combined with their irresistibly tasty tucker), also wondered whether there's healthier KFC options to consider (actually, I just found out there is).

On Saturday 29th August, selected KFC stores will be opening their kitchens, with store managers becoming your tour guide. They'll be revealing their mouth-watering cooking secrets (sorry, this doesn't include the magic ingredients of their renowned herbs and spices). During this half hour, you'll not only receive 2 pieces of freshly-prepared Original Recipe Chicken with a regular chips and drink for FREE, but acquire a better understanding of just what goes on in that kitchen of theirs.

You'll need to register early to attend your preferred location and time.

PLEASE NOTE:

Long pants are required. Shoes need to be flat, enclosed, and non-slip. Please ensure long hair is tied back. Unfortunately, if you don't have suitable clothing, they won't be able to let you enter the kitchen. Participants need to be over the age of 16.

Bon appetit!
