Kew Community Festival will be returning to regale Melburnians one more time from 6 March 2015 to 22 March 2015.
Every year the Kew Community Festival has a unique theme and this year's theme is 'Raise the Rhythm' which refers to the rhythm of life. For 17 days, this festival will be a source of great joy and entertainment to the people of Kew and the City of Boroondara. Aimed at promoting local talents and fostering stronger relationships with local dance and music companies, the impressive itinerary of the Kew Community Festival features chocolate appreciation nights, exhibitions, community lunches, open days, lectures, walking tours, concert and much more.
On 21 March 2015, Kewmunity Day will be hosted which will include a wonderful lineup including Wings of Change dance parade, live musical and dance performances, food stalls, information stands, amusements, an animal farm, face painting, horse and cart rides, and fun activities, as well as a concert from 7pm. The concert will include renowned names like Tracey Bartram and Bob Valentine. The Kewmunity Day will culminate with an astounding fireworks display at 9:30pm. Kewmunity Day will be held from 10am to 9:30pm at Victoria Park located at the corner of the High Street and the Adeney Avenue in Kew.
