Impromptu adventuring, exploring our backyard and then putting pen to paper, hoping to entice you to try one, if not all, of our escapades, is my true reward!

An 'oldie' style park in a quiet location with a variety of safe activities for families
The Kevin Asmus Park in Buddina is an inviting level open space to explore. This well-connected park is surrounded by many community facilities, including the Kawana Library, Community Hall and a gardener's delight
Community Garden, attended by keen gardeners and local birds, chirping for their next treat.

A gardener's delight Community Garden
This delightful park is interwoven with a
large educational bike track, perfect for the beginner cyclists in the family. Children can 'park' their bikes and scooters at the many different play elements. The main feature of the Kevin Asmus Park is the pirate ship with a tunnel, climbing ropes, interactive panels and slides. The next stop is the play café/shop and then to 'fill' up their bicycles at the play petrol pump, designed to inspire little people's imaginations.

Riding along the paths, children can stop off at the swings for a change in play activity or visit the half basketball court to show off their ball skills. Next to the play space visitors will discover a large cricket oval. Sounds like Mum and Dad will need to fill the car boot with all sorts of 'extra accessories' for a fun day out. There is ample natural shade, shade sails and a shelter for those sunny hot days.

A variety of safe play elements await little imaginations ...
Play elements -
Kids educational bike/scooter track – complete with miniature street signs, roundabouts and painted road lines
Pirate ship - the ship theme, complete with a tunnel, climbing ropes, interactive panels plus slides, is guaranteed to bring many hours of play for children looking to engage their adventurous side. I noted, happily, that the Pirate ship is one of the 'old school' type play elements, which makes it more easily accessible to the littlies in the family.

Swings offer an alternative play element
Facilities -
Plenty of shade – with large shade sails, picnic shelter and trees
Pathways to all facilities, so wheelchair accessible too
Picnic tables, seating and drinking fountain
Plenty of parking options
Public amenities are located at the nearby hall/library area (please check opening hours).
