This is one kitchen you will want to visit and stay in for a while. Situated on the outskirts of Sydney's Surry Hills on Kepos Street this kitchen is more than just a bench top with an oven, stove, fridge and some cupboards. is a converted home with a front 'living' area which leads into a kitchen in the middle with a corridor directing you into the back 'living area'. The front room has large windows giving you a view of the tree lined cul de sac and the back room is lined with comfy cushioned benches and perfect lighting. Although the atmosphere has that cosy, comforting 'sitting at home in your kitchen' feel, it is the food the people of Sydney are on month long wait lists for.

is the brainchild of Sydney chef Michael Rantissi who cleverly blends Israeli and Middle Eastern cuisine into one amazing menu. Dates stuffed with goats cheese and pistachios, tel aviv falafels with green tahini and homemade hommous with pine nuts and olive oil are the best way to start your dining experience.
As you sip on your smooth red wine along comes the mains which are perfectly designed for sharing.Tabouleh freshly complete with parsley, mint, cucumber, shallots and tomatoes are pleasantly joined by diced eggplant and pretty pomegranate pearls. Team this with fish kefta or black Angus sirloin or delicate potato gnocchi and you have just devoured the most divine meal. Your night is not complete unless you are tempted by their churros with salted caramel or soft baked chocolate cake. Washed down with a steaming tea and you are ready to leave the kitchen with a full belly and a wonderful night out in Sydney under your belt.
