Located at Croydon Park, Keong Kee Peking Duck BBQ is a great place to purchase some tasty Chinese roast meats to take home for lunch or dinner.
The Roast Pork offered here is the best we have tasted so far in Adelaide, with crisp crackling contrasting well with the tender slightly salty flesh. The combination is so delectable that it is difficult to stop at just one piece. The takeaway box for the roast pork is also notable for having a hole cut out in the lid to ensure that the crackling does not become soft.

Also known as Char Siu, the BBQ Pork offered here is sliced relatively thin, which gives you the right balance of meat texture and flavour from the sticky coating. We found that the BBQ Pork at other places tended to be sliced a bit too thick. The pork had the right amount of sweet-savoury flavour that we expected and the caramelized bits on some of the pieces of pork added to the enjoyment.

The perfect size for a small family, their Soy Chicken was cooked just right and set off by skin which added a wonderful savoury flavour. Accompanying the chicken was a serving of sauce with the right level of salty flavour that the chicken can be dipped in to enhance its flavour.

Primarily catering for takeaway, there is not a lot of seating available in the shop. The ambience is what you would expect from a Chinese BBQ shop. Plenty of parking spaces are available in the carpark located within walking distance of the outlet.
