Kensington Police and Community Youth Centre (PCYC) is having a Car Boot Sale and Open House on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 7:30am to 11:30am.

Kensington PCYC is raising funds for their driver education programme and the repair of a car driving simulator used to support their road safety youth programs - both accredited training and recreational. To continue driving the road safety message, this well utilised and important tool is in urgent need of repair.

Stay a while, as there is plenty of free parking at the Centre and surrounding streets. Not to forget the Sausage Sizzle and Ice Cream Van on site.

The early bird

Car Boot Sale sellers admitted from 7:00am and Buyers from 7:30am. The Main Centre and the Out of School Care Centre also open at 7:30am. There is free entry to buyers, so come early with an empty boot and help support Kensington PCYC support the young in our community.

Are you a seller?

It is an advantage for Sellers to pre-book a bay on 08 9367 1282 or email [email protected] (but you can turn up on the day). Kensington PCYC is asking for a donation to their Centre and receipts can be provided on the day.


Are you looking for Before or After School Care, or need care for your child aged 4 to 12 years during the school holidays? Kensington PCYC has an ( OSHC ) Centre on site, and have vacancies over most weekdays. Opening their doors during the Car Boot Sale, you are welcome to view their facilities, meet the educators and discuss your needs. No booking required, just come on down and have a look and a chat. There are no tours, however, you are free to walk between Centres to view their facilities.


Kensington PCYC specialises in and excels at engaging and supporting youth at risk within the local community. They work closely with government agencies and the WA Police to provide a voice for young people and build a safer community. Moreover, delivering traditional recreational activities such as gymnastics along with a School Holiday Program that is supported by the WA Police and an Out of School Care Service for local community members.

In partnership with the WA Police and the community, PCYC is a charity that develops young people through inclusive and sustainable programs and activities that contributes to a safer community.

PCYC are continually looking for bright, enthusiastic and talented people to join their PCYC family . Additionally, PCYC centres are always on the lookout for talented and passionate volunteers to help deliver activities and services. Volunteers help to reduce ongoing staff costs, meaning they can use more of their funds directly to where they are needed most - to help our most vulnerable and disadvantaged members.
