JJ Holland Park is the place to be for this FREE and fabulous family festival led by Unison Housing and a host of residents and local community organisations. Head to the park on Kensington Rd, Kensington on Sunday 31 March 2019 from 10am to 4pm for a day filled with entertainment, food trucks, a sustainability hub, local businesses, music and a whole lot more. It's a day to celebrate our community and the wonderful country we live in. You'll find a host of activities listed HERE.
The sustainable living expo area will feature waste solutions, composting, bees, pest repellent, indigenous food, display gardens, UpShop Industries, eco-house launch and more. All very interesting and informative for the current global climate we live in.
Music will fill the air with local bands, choirs and cultural groups entertaining the masses while kids can enjoy face painting, art and craft, animal farm, a family activity passport with prizes and many other fun things to do. Get the blood pumping by trying hula hoops, Tai Chi, African drumming, and Bollywood Dancing at these mini-workshops. Now there's a measure for endurance and agility. Try keeping those hula hoops on the waist and swirl and twirl them on all other parts of the body if you're an expert.
This 2019 amazing program is jam-packed to keep you engaged and entertained. There's lots of free activities and entertainment for all ages including a pop-up repair hub and an array of international food trucks. Follow the updates on the Facebook page. Pack your family and friends and head down to celebrate cultural diversity and community connection in a fabulous atmosphere.
