A country cafe with character
Kenilworth Country Bakery is a lively cafe offering great coffee, donuts and a selection of savoury pies and pastries. But the heart of this establishment truly belongs to the sweet donut. Freshly baked, pert-looking rounds of deep fried dough topped with shiny glazes fill a large display cabinet. Flavour options are assorted and tempting; each centre oozing globs of luscious creme. Choose from original glaze, Belgian custard creme, German creme, chocolate mint, Ferrero Rocher, lemon curd, caramel slice and more.

This small-town bakery often has a queue out the door. Some come to participate in the 1 kg donut challenge; before your visit you can request a 1 kg donut for $20 be ready upon your arrival. All you have to do is finish it to receive your money back as well as your name written on a silver plaque to hang on the cafe wall.

Out the back is a large courtyard with ample seating for family and friends. Street art painted along the back fence salutes music legends, giving this country bakery a bit of an urban pulse and character.
