The paradox is that in enjoying this show at the Fad Gallery you end up being both on the edge of your seat - tense and relaxed.

Kelfie & Fickel! Well fickle they aren't! They've been best friends since childhood primary school. Yes, the show was funny, and yes I did laugh, and oh how naughty, naughty, naughty. The 'Kelfied & Fikeled' show is fabulous gig as part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival 2013:Kelfied & Fikeled .

It took me a while to shift mental gears from slow to fast – the warm-up lasting approximately 60 seconds. As usual, I didn't read the blurb, just tagged along with my friend AC.

Be warned this show is most enjoyable if you think at the speed of lightening. And, it becomes really entertaining when you relax and go with the flow. While K & F do their utmost to keep you on the edge of your seat with songs like "The C Word" and images that play on teenage pube swapping it's not until you relax that the funny scenes the girls conjure up come alive.

Amazing vocals and great keyboard skills combined with theatrical talent make the show very enjoyable. Typically I searched the internet for the duo when I got home and found that they came to the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 2012, have had great reviews and everyone raves about their sound – so no need for me to go there. I found some very entertaining online viedeo's, one K&F Youtube Rehearsal , interesting Facebook stuff and was mildly surprised at how under-utilised their own website Kelfi and Fikel is – but then I guess that's young people for you.

They are off to the Edinburgh Comedy Festival this year so that is also a feather in their cap. I have put this duo on my favourite watch list and will look out for them next year on hopefully an annual pilgrimage from Sydney down south.

The show goes through until the 21st of April and with ticket prices between $10-15 I'm sure they need every ticket sale possible to get them to Edinburgh. (Thanks to my friend AC for my ticket.)

P.S. Only suitable if you are comfortable with rude words, I think AC might have been a little bit shocked, but then she does radio
