Kele Park is located at Tennant Memorial Drive, Emu Park. Kele Park was unveiled on 11th May 1980 by Livingstone Shire Chairman Mr H. R. Beak. This beautiful and well-maintained park is a favourite picnic place of locals and visitors. It's on top of the hill, so you can see Emu Park CBD as well as the sea from the top of the park.

Kele Park is the home of the Singing Ship . You can also see replica of some parts of Captain Cook's Endeavour ship here. There is a time capsule buried in the base of the foundation stone of the Singing Ship. It was dated 1975 and is to be open in 2070 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Cook's discovery.

There are picnic tables and seating areas around the park. I couldn't see a public toilet nearby but Kele Park is not far from Emu Park CBD and there should be a public toilet there.

Kele Park was named after Steve Kele - a steel and concrete contractor from Rockhampton. To recognise Steve Kele's creation of the structure of the Singing Ship and his dedication and determination, a block of land surrounding the Singing Ship was named after him. Steve Kele had completed the building of the monument at his own expense when the funds of the 'Celebrations Committee' ran out!

There is also a park in Rockhampton, Alf Kele Memorial Rotary Park , that is named after Steve Kele's brother.
