I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.
Event:
Country Meets Rock In The City
Keith Urban has been wowing audiences on the ripCORD world tour and since December 6 touring Australia with Carrie Underwood. The tour concludes with two concerts in Brisbane on the 16th & 17th December. After celebrating Christmas in Australia, he will be performing in Nashville on New Year's Eve.

I must admit I am not a fan of country music, but I do not consider Keith Urban to be traditional country. I found this event to be more like a rock concert with great lyrics. The music was fantastic and all the band members were vocally talented as well as brilliant musicians.

Waiting for the main event

Keith is an amazing guitarist and you can see how much he enjoys his craft. He is a consummate performer who thrives on audience interaction. The concert was more than two hours of high energy performance, audience participation and heartfelt soulful ballads.

Getting down amongst it

Keith Urban appeals to a wide range of people and I am sure that he made plenty of new fans during the course of this tour. Wednesday night at Sydney ICC was my first time at one of his concerts but it will certainly not be the last.
