There are a few obvious things to keep warm, like wearing a nice woolly jumper, a scarf, or nice long socks or stockings. Which can be found well, anywhere, particularly near Coles on Level Two of Westfield Chatswood.

Knee high, cow, or fluffy socks can't do you wrong

Another cute idea for your feet is heading over to Morning Glory and getting yourself a pair of these bad boys. They're as warm as they are adorable!

But you'll also be wanting something to keep your hands warm, so where do you go if you want cute and warm gloves?

Well, you can find cute gloves for kids, or teens with small hands, from Daiso for only $2.80

Or, my personal favourite, you can buy these adorable bunny mittens from Morning Glory (there are also gloves and fingerless mittens).

Another idea from these Asian based stores are one of the greatest inventions in my opinion - arm warmers. Basically, these are like sleeves without the shirt; just wear them under your long sleeves or with a T-shirt and you'll instantly get warmer! There are lots of different colours and styles and they really do keep the cold out.

You can also go to the Reject Shop and buy snap and warm heat packs to keep in your bag ready for a particularly chilly morning. If you have access to a microwave you may also want to go to Kathmandu or a local chemist to pick up a microwaveable heat pack to give you that extra burst of warmth you need to get you going. Some of them even have their own cushiony soft toy cover and you can find them at the Melon Store located in Westfield Chatswood (just be sure they don't get dirty whilst going for a spin in the microwave).

So those are my suggestions for cheap, cute and warm ways to get you through winter. If you know any other funky and wonderful ways to keep warm give a shout out in the comments!
