What started as a humble family business is now a national food enterprise. Kee Mei Siew Pow has been making traditional Chinese pastries for decades. As its name suggests, the signature product is siew pow - a pork-filled crispy pastry baked to golden brown perfection. They are delicious, especially when eaten fresh from the oven. For those who prefer a non-pork filling, chicken siew pow (topped with sesame) can be purchased instead. Personally, I find the pork filling to be richer in taste than the chicken filling.

Besides siew pow, pastries such as egg tart, bean paste biscuit, kaya puff and more are also available. Their product range has definitely expanded in recent years. Kee Mei Siew Pow is headquartered at 1849 Jalan Tok Ungku in Seremban, however, there's a branch right in the heart of town along Jalan Dr Krishnan.
