On Saturday 30th April 2022, the Kingston Butter Factory Culture Precinct (KBF) will open to the public and in doing so, celebrate with a
free community party .
The festivities commence at 5.30pm and continue until 10.00pm incorporating a great line-up of entertainment to suit all tastes. Auntie Robin Williams will open this event with a Welcome to Country followed by a Traditional Smoking Ceremony and Cultural Dance by the
Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dancers.

Imanzi Rwandan Cultural Group ,
Heilani Productions , The Mammas Boy Collective, LUATÈ, MR.MR, 4114 Collective, T
e Tai Mauri and
Chris Tamwoy with special guest artist
Tania Rose Gibuma , who will be live on the big stage. The entertainment commences at 6.30pm.
There will be lots of tasty treats and a range of food trucks, as well so you can eat dinner while there. Bring a blanket or chairs and get comfy for a fun night.
The
Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct is located at 270 Jacaranda Avenue,
Kingston . To get there, it is best to take the train as the Kingston Butter Factory is located next door to the Station. Trains have also added additional scheduled services following the event. Train timetables can be found on
Translink .
This event reflects the amazing diversity of the Logan community where every culture can come together to each share their unique cultures, contemporary music, dance, visual and spoken word performances. An event not to be missed.
