No big cruiser or fancy yacht needed
This has to be the best way to explore Sydney's harbour. You can't get closer to the dark aqua waters than on a kayak. No big expensive cruiser or yacht necessary to enjoy our gorgeous harbour.

Just head to Rose Bay and hire a double kayak for $40 per hour or a single kayak for $20 per hour. Off you go. A little upper body strength, bottle of water or champagne perhaps and a camera of course and you have a superb day on the most beautiful body of water in the world.

Heading around the corner from Rose Bay you will find yourself amazed by the glorious real estate of Point Piper including the Spanish Embassy situated right on the edge of Sydney Harbour with an unobstructed view of the headlands. Travelling further to the left you will find yourself in Rushcutters Bay or if you are more adventurous head outwards into the harbour towards Shark Island.

End it all with a cool dip into the water and a splash around close to shore and you have found yourself keeping that glass half full of deep blue sea water, a gallon of Sydney sunshine and whole lot of fun.
