Katherine Regional Arts and Footscray Community Arts Centre invite adults and children to take part in creating Katherine's own "Bush Cabaret".



Kamahi Djordon King, a local artist from Katherine, Bo Sovoronos and Juanita Duncan, will be working together with the Katherine community and surrounding area to create a cabaret in a bush. In order to make this happen, workshops will take place at Katherine Regional Arts (KRA) Comunity Studio, 19 Second Street (enter from O'Shea Tce) by the river.



The first workshop will be on 1st October 2017 starting from 10am until 2pm. This workshop is for adults who want to join in the event. This workshop will be an intensive performance skill workshop.

Worshops for children will be held from Monday 2nd October until Friday 6th October. Children aged 12 - 18 years old will have their dance workshop from 1 to 3pm every day. The workshop will include contemporary dance and hip hop as well as performance skills. Please bring water bottle and snacks with you and also wear something comfortable.



On Saturday 7th October 2017, the cabaret will be performed for the public.
