There's something so thoughtful and lovely about a handmade Christmas gift, but what do you do if you can't craft? Well if your sewing is so-so and your crochet is croch-nay and your baking is more like half-baked, head along to experience the Joy of Giving at Karuna Christmas Market.

The annual charity event will be held on Friday the 18th of November from 2pm to 7pm in Windsor, just north of Brisbane. Superb market stalls will be packed full of unique festive food, craft and gifts galore.





Organisers say, "The Christmas market is an important fundraiser for Karuna, organised by a dedicated group of volunteers who gather weekly to create beautiful items to sell."

For those who've never heard of Karuna, since 1992 the charity has helped thousands of people by providing in home care for the dying and their families. A highly qualified team of specialists, along with dedicated volunteers help minimize pain and fear for people dealing with loss of life.

Karuna relies on community support to continue their great work, with only a portion of the funding they need coming from Queensland Health, they must fund-raise to make up the difference.





The market organisers promise, "Five rooms at Karuna's gracious Windsor headquarters will be overflowing with unique gifts.... An assortment of puddings, jams, biscuits and traditional Christmas food will be there to tempt you. If you are looking for unique Christmas decorations, handmade bags, children's clothes, aprons and many other lovingly made goodies, do your Christmas shopping at Karuna House and join in the fun."
