The Big Ram is an impressive installation that creates an optical illusion of movement. The
will appear to 'shuffle' as you walk past it.
Designed by artist Garry Duncan, the shuffle's six static structures depict grain crops and pay tribute to the district's grain industry. They were erected on six silo pads representing the six-month growing season from seeding to harvest.
You're welcome to take a stroll around and through the structures. And, if you happen to be there after sunset, you'll get to see them light up too.
The shuffle can be found on Railway Terrace in Karoonda approximately 150 kilometres east of Adelaide. Other nearby things to see include the town's day and night
silo art , an old railway crane and the
Where is he? sculpture.
