The other day I took my brother to Karingal Village cinemas, located in the Langwarrin area. Karingal cinemas is my favourite cinema and here are the reasons why.

It is located in a great area, normally people are a bit wary around cinemas, especially at night time due to trouble makers that like to hang around there.

The cinema is surrounded by great places to eat, so it makes it easy if you want to go for dinner and a movie. Red Fire Lounge, Nando's, Hogs Breath Cafe, Stacks Pancake Bar and a little Asian Restaurant surround the cinema. My brother and I chose to eat at Nando's, and then it was a hop, skip and jump away to go to the movies right after that.

The cinema is really big, very roomy and even has its own little Intensity gaming area, which is always fun to go to after you finish your movie. Here we tried the claw machines, air hockey and those car racing games - my brother thought it was cool and really loved it.

The movie tickets at Village cinemas is a bit more expensive than Hoyts, but I think you get better value at Village. Besides, it is such a nice cinema and really new and modern, you feel really safe and enjoy your trip there.

Downstairs is the ticket booth, toilets, candy bar and the gaming area, upstairs is all the cinemas, including Gold Class and a V-Max cinema (which has a really big screen).

I really love the layout of and I advise for everyone to choose to go there instead of Frankston Hoyts if you live in the Mornington Peninsula area.
