This two day community event will showcase the historic town of Kapunda, which was home to several notable manufacturers of farm and mining machinery and is a producer of cereal crops, including wheat, barley and oats. Other local services in Kapunda include stock feed milling and hay processing and the town also contributes to the celebrated Barossa Valley wine industry.
Kapunda is located around an hour from Gepps Cross and this annual community event brings together a wide and diverse selection of local exhibitors and stallholders and entertainment and demonstrations for all ages to enjoy.
The Kapunda Farm Fair will run from 9am to 5pm on both days and families will be invited to peruse some 300 exhibitors and stallholders on site. You'll discover everything from agriculture, viticulture and horticulture, to tractors, trailers and welders. There will also be general interest displays centring on lifestyle and health services.
In addition to the exhibitors and stallholders, there will also be informative displays and demonstrations of farm machinery, all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles and much more.
Children will also be catered for with dedicated entertainment, plus fashion parades for families to enjoy.
There will also be a selection of food and beverages on site, so you can easily tuck into a hearty breakfast or lunch with the family onsite.
