Food court prices, restaurant taste

Kao San Cafe is located on Hay street, right next to the Shafto Lane entrance. It's a quaint little cafe that offers a choice between Japanese and Taiwanese cuisine. It's not quite fantastic restaurant standards, but it is much better then any food court.

The food is quick to come out and pretty decently priced. They are always having specials including half price sushi. They often come out with some interesting dishes as well. Have you ever tried Whiskey Noodles? No? Well they serve it.

The interior is quite nice. It's kept well clean and they set out little plants and sculptures on the tables. It's comfortable and there's no need to rush. They also do lunch packs that you can pop in and pick up in five minutes flat during that busy peak.

If you're looking for something nice for lunch or dinner, at food court prices, then pop into Kao San Cafe.
