Despite its unassuming location as part of Kingscote's Caltex Fuel Complex, is a great place to enjoy fresh seafood at reasonable prices. The place also doubles as a fishmonger where customers can purchase seafood for cooking at home.

Due to their use of fresh seafood, we decided to opt for the butterfish in their Seafood Meal Deal being grilled rather than the usual crumbed or battered deep-fried version. The grilled butterfish did not disappoint. They had a wonderful fresh taste and the meat easily flaked apart with a fork. A lemon wedge was provided for squeezing over the fish for those that like to add a bit of tanginess.



The prawns, scallops, crab sticks, salt and pepper squid and calamari were also of excellent quality as well. None of them had a fishy taste and the salt and pepper squid had the right amount of seasoning. Their crab sticks notably had a slightly sweet flavour - something we had not experienced from crab sticks that we had tried at other restaurants. Included with the pack were chips, tartare sauce and your choice of salad and a 1.25L soft drink.





For a place that primarily caters for takeaway, the ambience was very comfortable with a decent amount of seating for those that decide to dine-in. Parking is not an issue with the carpark at the back offering off-street parking.
