How are bees holding up in Australia? In Britain they're not doing so well.

It is mainly just honey bees that are affected. There are a number of factors, including bad weather and pesticides (it doesn't kill them, but confuses their navigation so they can't get back to the hive), but the main problem is the Varroa mite, a parasitic insect that sucks their blood.

That's not good to hear Bryony. What is happening to them?
I haven't heard of any problems in Australia.
