Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the Melbourne CDB and make your way to Kaneda a casual Japanese restaurant located in the Mid-City Arcade (Shop 06) on 200 Bourke Street.

This establishment which is well-known for its fresh, elaborate sushi also boasts an extensive authentic regional menu, offering customers with a number of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Bento boxes are quite a popular choice as they offer a range of choices for the diner. The dessert/sweet menu is also extensive and compliments the fresh, healthy Japanese cuisine.

What's welcoming about this establishment is it offers intimate and relaxed dining at a moderate price. The friendly and attentive waiting staff will help you order if need be.

Kaneda is as expected, often busy during lunch-time, however in the afternoon diner's can take advantage of there 'Tea-Time' specials.
