Hay! (Excuse the pun)

The annual Black Opal Stakes is nearing closer so giddy up in your finest race wear and trot on down to Thoroughbred Park on Sunday 10 March.

General admission is $25 at the gate which includes access to the race course and viewing of the eight races. If you book online, you can grab a ticket for $15! (but only until 1st March) Gates open at 11:30 with the first race starting at 1pm.

There are plenty of alcoholic drinks and food to choose from and extra entertainment as the races celebrates it's 4oth year!

Once again, Myer will be presenting Fashions on the Field, will lots of prizes to be won. And the little ones will not be forgotten, plenty of activities including face painting.

There are marquees which you can saddle up in to watch the races. Costs will vary but you can expect private facilities, DJ's, excellent track views and food and drink packages.

You better bolt to book a ticket or you will be kicking your feet if you miss out.
