We stayed in a spa studio and we were surprised with the spaciousness of the place. The entry leads to an open dining, self contained kitchen and lounge area, and has a sliding door that opens out to a raised balcony complete with chairs, outdoor table and BBQ.
The lounge room has a large comfy lounge, a couple of single seat chairs, a few coffee tables, TV/DVD, stereo and reverse cycle air conditioning. The kitchen is equipped with a sink, two burner stove, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.
We had dinner at The Edge Restaurant which is attached to the resort and is rated as a fine dining restaurant. We ordered a veal verde, which was made up of two pan fried veal medallions, tiger prawns, asparagus, brocollini, mash potato and salsa verde. We also had a pork cutlet, which had seared pork with sweet potato puree, asparagus, brocollini and apple and balsamic compote. Both meals were hearty and delicious, Although the staff were attentive, the atmosphere in the restaurant was very clinical and there was not much in the way of décor apart from some photographs of local sights.
