Celebrate the Christmas season in the beautiful Perth Hills
Originating in Australia during the nineteenth century, Carols by Candlelight is a magical event during which communities around the country gather together to sing much-loved carols celebrating the advent of Jesus and the Christmas season. Illuminated by hundreds of tiny candles, the old and the young join together offering heart-felt homage in one of our most-loved celebrations. For many people the event is one of their most treasured childhood memories, and a tradition which they're determined to share with their own children and grandchildren.
Kalamunda Carols by Candlelight is one of many such events which are held every year throughout the Perth metropolitan area and this year it will be held on Sunday 9th December, at its usual venue, Stirk Park on Kalamunda Road. The program will begin at 7.30pm with a rousing performance by the Kalamunda District Pipe Band, followed by singing and performances by a variety of local community and school groups until its conclusion at 9.30pm. It is sure to be a wonderful night for all ages, both for local Kalamunda residents and visitors from further afield.
