Challenging ride the Kalamunda 100 2018 Event
BWA - Bicycling Western Australia is hosting the 2018 Kalamunda 100. This is a great event for all cycling enthusiasts to get involved in and have a great time doing so. They are saying it is one of the most challenging rides and I think the challenge is worth every bit of ache and sweat as having grown up riding through these hills, I have to say they are the most beautiful and picturesque you will find.
Cycling the Kalamunda 100, you will go through Kalamunda, Pickering Brook and Mundaring and it is a great course designed to really get those legs pumping. If you are keen for the epic 2018 Dams Challenge, then get on to this one first, you will be pumped and ready for anything after this weekend.
This is a timed event, though be aware that only teams will be issued with a timing chip. It is however not a race, but a little healthy competition amongst your friends is not frowned upon. This event is a fully supported event with approval for traffic management, corner marshals, on-road support and water stations. Bicycling Western Australia have a good reputation for their events being fun, exciting and in a safe environment.
The maps and course are available via MapMyRide, Cycle my City or in PDF format. You can also check out the video of 2017 course to get you inspired.
