The Kailis family has been involved in the fishing industry for many, many years. The Kailis Fish Market Café, first founded in 1928 and known as GP Kailis and Sons Fish Market, has evolved from humble beginnings into one of the best seafood restaurants in the world, serving not only succulent seafood but some of the best fish and chips around.

Choose from a variety of freshly caught fish and seafood and dine indoors or in the extremely popular alfresco area overlooking the waterfront. The Kailis Fish Market Café is fully licenced and has a bar area where you can enjoy a drink without purchasing a meal, so you can have a drink after work and take in the view or a drink with family and friends before, or after, you dine.

If you plan to go to the Kailis Fish Market Café for a meal you should definitely think about sitting outside on the alfresco deck. The view is brilliant and you can see some gorgeous sunsets.

Open 7 days a week from 8am until late, for lunch, dinner and casual all day dining. The place is very busy and fills up fast but it's definitely well worth the trip.
