Fairtrade Ethical Coffee and Teas, Freshly Ground
Calling all lovers of coffee! There is a new coffee shop and coffee roasting distributor in Ubud, Bali.

It is located north of Ubud, on Jalan Sriwedari and you will find it as you come to the first bridge, just on the right hand side past the bridge, a little north out of town.

The staff here are wonderful and will go out of their way to make you a really great cup of coffee. They are passionate about what they do, including roasting fresh "bean to cup" and Fair Trade throughout Indonesia.

They shared with me about the ups and downs and the trials of being a coffee farmer in Bali, including having to work excessively long hours with very little income. They wanted to do something for the farmers and lift them out of their poverty and so they began importing coffee from Java and paying Fair Trade prices for it.

In order to bring you the very freshest coffee beans, they imported their own coffee roasters and they roast fresh in their store as they need the beans and subsequent grounds. To make your coffee experience wonderful, they also include great plungers and special drip filters.

I found them extremely generous in the explanations, their joyfulness and their time. They took great delight in providing me many types of coffee to sample and sharing their experiences.

If you are having a get together, you can hire the venue and they will provide you a coffee experience, allowing your guests to witness the entire process culminating in the perfect cup of coffee.
