Kaesler Wines is located in the heart of Barossa Valley, only an hour's drive from Adelaide's CBD. The winery and cellar door are popular for their robust wines, which can be achieved through having access to ancient vine material.


The original owners were Silesian pioneers, who established in the Barossa in the 1840s and by 1891 they had established approximately 96 acres. By 1983, they had planted the entire acreage with Shiraz, Mataro, Grenache and White Hermitage varietals, some of these vines are still used in Kaesler's wine production today.


When visiting Barossa, Kaesler wines cellar door offers wine tastings, open to the public 7 days a week from 11am to 5pm. Guests can enjoy the Kaesler Estate Tasting for $10 per person. The tasting includes a choice of 5 wines from the premium Estate collection and the tasting fee is redeemable on any wine purchase. For a memorable experience, guests can book the Old Vine Tasting for $40 per person, this includes iconic wines from the old vines, tasting fee is also redeemable upon purchase of any wine from the iconic range.
