Kaeru Environmental Public Art Project
This outdoor exhibition, by installation artist Hiroshi Fuji, invites visitors to join in creating an interactive garden installation made entirely of recycled material.

Located on the upper terrace of the new Hamer Hall, Arts Centre, the garden is open from August 25th through to September 30th and is free of charge and family friendly.

Escape in the community garden made from recycled materials, which sparkle by reflecting sunlight, with Melbourne's beautiful city skyline as a backdrop.

This space comprises teepee and igloo structures, reminisce of dream catchers, where you may re-live childhood days by gently swinging on a roped old car tyre or wooden swing, or sit on the grass below and lose yourself to the pre-recorded sounds of nature emitted from speakers within the teepee.

Wander through and discover recycled favourites such as soccer balls and water bottles, used in practical ways and/or for aesthetic purposes, lay down on the grass and contemplate Kaeru - exchange, transform and grow.

Recyceled art is just the best! Cant remember, what was there before? It looks like a really big area!
