Ghandi Salt March Ltd and Teamworks, in conjunction with the Brookwater Golf Club will be hosting a multicultural event on Wednesday 7 November 2018 at the Springfield based Golf Club.
The evening will feature dinner and a live performance from Kabir Café, a Mumbai based music group that brings to life the works of Kabir which are given a modern twist and infused with rock, pop, reggae and fusion.
The event kicks off at 7pm with funds raised going towards supporting the 2018 Kerala Flood Relief in India (where almost 500 people died and 1 million were evacuated) and the Queensland Drought Relief.
Tickets are $100 and can be purchased from the Brookwater Golf Club. Ghandi Salt March is a Brisbane based Company which operates to support the Power of Peace – to celebrate Mahatma Ghandi's global, universal values of peace, non-violence and inclusiveness.
Events like the performance by Kabir Café are created around this theme. A separate 2 day community Festival (scheduled for April 2019) also provides an educational and cultural experience focusing on youth education and promoting exchange and collaboration between Australia and overseas.
So come along, join in and savour this unique multicultural experience and help support two important causes affecting local and international communities at the same time.
