Guess what's better than a trip to Disneyland? A cozy room with a fantastic view of the magical Park! JW Marriott Anaheim Resort is the perfect location for families, couples, and singles to experience Southern California and Disneyland at its best.

My husband and I had a one-of-a-kind experience – a true room with a view where we could have watched the fireworks from our panorama window…if they had been scheduled the night we were there. We had a memorable experience, nonetheless.

JW Marriott Anaheim Resort hosted us, but these opinions are my own.

Upon Arrival



When we pulled into the circular driveway, the bell staff was efficient and couldn't do enough to welcome us to the hotel. Their goal is to unload the vehicles quickly, and guests are whisked into the lobby and up to the 2nd-floor Reception desk so the guests can begin their magical journey in Anaheim.

The interior décor is breathtaking – crystal raining down from Reception to the ground-level entrance.

The Reception desk on the 2nd floor is uncrowded and spacious. It's bright, with windows to the rooftop garden on one side, open seating, and a lounge across the floor. The escalators separate the two spaces and provide access to the Ballrooms, Meeting Rooms, and Café on Level 1.

The staff is friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the company of the same bellman when we checked out.

Our Room With A View



We enjoyed the personal touch of the Welcome and Farewell message on our flat-screen TV. The fresh fruit bowl (with edible flowers from the rooftop garden) with Fiji Water and Perrier made us feel pampered.



You can't beat the view from our window overlooking Disneyland. I'd never seen the Park from this vantage point, and it was such a pleasure to see it at night and in the early morning light.

The plush bedding, the luxurious bathroom with a separate shower and a giant tub, fluffy robes, lavish bath products, and USB ports built into the electrical outlets are just a few of the amenities that come with the accommodations.



The Pool



You can soak up the Southern California sunshine or enjoy the weather protected in a cabana. Dine and drink poolside with easy access to the lounge through open windows.

The Fitness Center**



State-of-the-art equipment that includes Peloton bikes and a Zen room where you can take in-person or digital yoga classes will keep you in shape if you can pull yourself away from the bar, restaurants, and Disneyland.

Light bites and creative cocktails are served in the Parkestry Rooftop Bar, and Citriculture provides full service in the indoor-outdoor lobby and by the pool.

Breakfast on the go with gourmet coffee, soups, and sandwiches, and daily specials are served at JW Market on the Ground Level.

The Rooftop



The seed-to-table garden provides fresh herbs and edible flowers for all the dining experiences (and special touches in guest room fruit bowls) at the Resort.



The rooftop becomes more magical in the serene gardens and on the Garden Walk when the lights go down.



On the top floor, you'll get a ring-side seat for the fireworks and enjoy adult beverages during the magical fireworks show.

Engaging installation artwork in the rooftop garden makes the space welcoming and exciting, so you'll want to spend your leisure time there.





Final Thoughts

JW Marriott Anaheim Resort has earned the AAA Four Diamond luxury hotel award for a reason—the upscale resort thought of everything for one's well-being.
