As the Homeless Support Group are a not-for-profit charity organisation that does not receive government funding, they rely on donations and ticket sales from fundraising events. Proceeds are used to provide essentials such as food, toiletries and clothing to Perth's most vulnerable.
If you're not able to attend this screening but still want to help, there are many ways to get involved:
DONATIONS Much-needed items like new socks and underwear, toiletries or non-perishable food are always in demand. As we are heading into winter, blankets and sleeping bags are also appreciated.
Donations can be dropped at the Perth Homeless Support Group depot at 28a Munt St, Bayswater between 10am and 2pm, Monday to Friday.
You can volunteer your time to support Perth Homeless Support Group in many ways. This could be receiving goods and packing hampers in the depot or assisting at the new Homeless Hub in Perth. If you have spare time and would like to help, email Jed Fay at email@example.com for more information
