Jump for joy at this fabulous centre
If you're looking for a place to take your kids to where they're guaranteed a 'jumping' good time, then Just Jump might be the place for you. Situated in Perth's northern suburb of Wanneroo the centre is packed with an array of jumping apparatus that will have your kids bouncing around, expending lots of energy and having a whole lot of fun doing so. Trampolining is a great form of low impact exercise for the whole family, and a fun way to get everyone moving. I recently went with my son and we both had such a fun experience here.

Kids will love the bouncy castle
The inside of the centre is split into three main bouncing areas. There's an area right at the front of the centre that features a bouncy castle type structure including a fun slide to swoosh down on. Adjacent to this there is also a fun little kids area, that is well stocked with toys, a TV playing Peppa Pig and a great colouring in station.
The next bouncing station is elevated, and accessible via a small stair way, and features a huge foam pit and three long trampolines. This is a really fun zone and kids will love being able to jump into the foam pit with wild abandon with a guaranteed soft landing.
The final section for jumping play is at the back of the centre and is enclosed within a netted frame. Inside are 6 large trampolines and some hoops for the ultimate bouncing dunk. There are softballs provided for fun and games and for kids to try to get their ball into the hoop. We had lots of fun trying and it's a great game to play on the trampolines.

The centre has a great spacious feel to it, and provides kids plenty of variety for jumping fun. Having a kids' corner is a great feature for parents bringing kids of mixed ages, as it means that if you have a baby or toddler in tow who is too young for bouncing, that there is still something for them to enjoy. So many of the other centres cater solely for the bigger kids, that this was a winning combination for me.
Also onsite is a well appointed cafe where you can grab drinks, snacks, coffees and even get your Ben and Jerry's fix.
The centre is open on the following hours: Monday : closed except during school holidays Tuesday: 10 am – 9 pm Wednesday: 10 am – 9 pm
Thursday: 10 am – 10 pm
Friday: 10 am – 10 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 8pm
Sunday: 11 am – 6 pm
Fitness classes are run at certain times and this may mean not all the centre is accessible. It's best to check the website here for more details.
Age restrictions are in place and kids under 3 are not permitted on the jumping aparatus, however, there are lots of toys and activities in the kids corner that they will enjoy.
On school days (Tuesday - Friday) the cost is $10 for the first hour and only $7 for the second hour of jumping fun. At other times the general admission prices are $15 for the first hour with a 2nd Hour priced at $10. All jumpers must wear the compulsory Just Jump socks priced at $2, which you can reuse on future visits.
Just Jump is a great venue for parties, with an upper mezzanine level for exclusive use for the birthday table. Packages are available on a self catered or catered basis, and include access to the centre, a party host and games. Prices start at $18 per child with a minimun number of 10 required for the party. For more details, check the website here.
In addition to general jumping fun, the centre also has a number of organised fitness programs running throughout the week. These include Parkour, Fitness 4 Kidz, Fitness 4 Adultz and Trampoline Basketball. To sign up for any of these programs, you just need to enquire at the centre.
I found Just Jump to be a great centre, with a good range of activities for children to enjoy. It's not a massive centre, but this is a great benefit as kids aren't overwhelmed. For safety reasons there are limits on the number of children allowed on the equipment at any one time, and this makes a parent feel happy that their children can enjoy themselves without risk of injury. I went on all of the trampolines with my son and as it was during school time, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We had a great time of jumping all over the place like mad people. This centre would make a perfect venue for a child's birthday party, and I'm sure that the super friendly staff would make excellent party hosts.
What a joke - paying a full $15 for my 2.5 year old, and then $15 for the supervising adult, and then the socks on top - $34 for one hour of a trampoline, bouncy castle and foam pit? No way, never again!
