Every time I see Donald O'Connor dance up the wall in Singin' in the Rain, it fills my heart with joy. I'm a child again and I want to clap my hands in glee, if not try his tricks for myself.

O'Connor is one of several song and dance men from the wonderful era of Hollywood movie musicals who is celebrated with joy in touring show Just A Couple of Song and Dance Men.

The show, produced by JTM Productions, comes to Koorliny Arts Centre on June 29 and brings together the exciting dance routines and fabulous songs of legendary performers like O'Connor, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and many more in one glorious stage production.



While I can't forget Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor in Singin' in the Rain, other musical movie lovers are equally thrilled by Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra in High Society, Crosby and O'Connor in Cole Porter's Anything Goes, or Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly in Ziegfeld Follies.

With plenty of toe-tapping tunes and great show-stopping dancing, gives audiences a sneak peek into the lives, the songs and the dance routines of the best song and dance men of all time, leaving them with smiling faces and a spring in their step.

Best of all, the family-friendly show introduces a new generation of audiences to the wonder of the song and dance men, who were downright amazing back in the day, and still are.

The show starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost $25 standard, $23 concession and $20 child.
