Just burgers with the best intentions
Just burgers are what they devote themselves with at Jus Burgers. The sole Victorian location for the multi-award-winning burger brand shows off the popularity it deserves on Chapel Street. Being sensitive to our desire to be late-night carnavours after a big night out, the burger-only kitchen is open seven days a week, until late on Friday and Saturday nights.
Whilst it is normally considered a sensible choice, this photo of the massive fish burger and chips should be enough information to get you worked up about the volume. Wipe up your drool!
What you can't see in the photo is the tasty special vegetable based sauce, original to JB. Tomato slices and lettuce of noticeable freshness enhance the meat.
Speaking of fresh, the Western Australia originated restaurant has a little secret to explain its superiority. The original shop in Perth is the first restaurant to swear the "Buy West Eat Best" policy, which means they only use ingredients from Western Australia. With the Victorian branch, their policy is to source all of their produce locally in Victoria. Local farmers are happy whilst us local eaters are happy.
The burger joint also makes a bold statement that there is no freezer anywhere in the kitchen. Freshness is promised by action at Jus Burgers.
The most popular out of the beef burgers is the Pommy Burger with cheddar cheese and back bacon, yet the menu is quite long. Meat choices are beef, wagyu beef, lamb, pork, chicken, fish, and even roo.
JB wins the popularity among the vegetarians, too. Tempeh, panko-crumbed pumpkin, and other middles are delightfully cooked on separate fryers. More information on their health-cousious ingredients and proud partners can be found at website.
