Even busy little dinosaurs need to eat

This high tea took 66 million years in the making or at least the concept did. A Jurassic World high tea these winter school holidays is sure to get little dinosaurs roaring into the Langham with their parents in tow.

And what a great idea as Langham's children's high teas are always a highlight on the winter school holidays calendar.

For savouries, kids can enjoy Isla Nublar beef roll with sweet onion marmalade and watercress, Triceratops cream cheese and cucumber ribbon sandwiches, Stiggy egg sushi, Stegosaurus vegetable crudities with hummus, Indominus Rex chicken and vegetable pie and Jurassic World miniature corn dogs. Funny how good food just got a lot more desirable as soon as you add a dinosaur's name to it.

For dessert, there's white chocolate and raspberry T-Rex cake pops, Dino paw print cookies, Jurassic World cupcakes and Dino egg chocolate mousse.

The Langham, Melbourne encourages children to come dressed up as their favourite Jurassic World dinosaur. So, there should be a few interesting get ups as well.

The cost is $59.00 per a with a glass of cordial or hot chocolate plus one take home Jurassic World Snap Squad toy. Better prewarn your little dinosaurs that Jurassic World Snap Squad toys come in various colour options and swapping of characters may not be possible. Don't want any ferociousness to ensue.

Parents may prefer some cordiality over cordial and they can enjoy the $59.00 adult Wedgwood High Tea. This comes with espresso coffee, leaf tea and a glass of sparkling wine.

It is also served on dainty tailor-made "Langham Rose" Wedgwood teaware with special menus created by the hotels' pastry chefs.

Tea sommeliers have organised a perfect blend to match your treats or you can indulge in a glass of sparkling wine to celebrate the whole family getting what they want out of the school holidays.

This event is on Monday 1st July until Friday 19th July 2019 but on
weekdays only.

It will be a popular event so suggest you book early. There are two daily sittings:

10am concluding at 11.30am
12.30pm concluding at 2pm
