I am a world traveller & a mom of two, (8 & 6). I love to meet people, and am fascinated that there are 7 billion stories out there to be explored. I think Melbourne is the most happening city to live in with all the fun activities around town.
Get close to awe-Inspiring giants
How excited would you and your children be if dinosaurs were coming to your city? If the answer is "very excited" and you live in Melbourne, then it's time to jump up and down for joy. You heard it right: the world premiere of the Jurassic World Exhibition is coming to Melbourne Museum, the only place in Australia where this exhibition is making its world debut.
The Exhibition is inspired by, yes you guessed it, the movie blockbuster of the same name. What was once only a dream will now come to life. Life size dinosaurs and much more to learn, this exhibition will offer something to people of all ages, young and old.
The feature attraction includes encounters with realistic, life-size animatronic dinosaurs that you have never seen before. What is even more awe-inspiring is that these dinosaurs are developed in Melbourne, by the Creature Technology Company. This company is well-known for the sophisticated robotics, which were featured in the "Walking with the Dinosaurs" worldwide spectacular.
A Velociraptor ready to pounce
What can you expect at the Exhibition with a VIP pass:
Travel to Isla Nublar, home of the Jurassic World
Visit the Hammond Creation Lab, where the different dinosaurs are "born"
Come face to face with your favourite dinosaurs: Brachiosaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex and so many more
The exhibition has been created as a result of consultations with a famous paleontologist Jack Horner. What you can therefore expect is an educational experience based on real-life knowledge.
The Exhibition starts on 19 March 2016 for a limited time at the Melbourne Museum. It is sure to sell out, so for a guaranteed opportunity, book your sessions as early as possible. Apart from providing a unique experience to visitors, the exhibition will also provide a major economic boost to our city.
"Let's be friends"
Make it a special day for your children, or arrange for the whole classroom to visit, or just take your friends with you; whatever you do, this is an exhibition not to be missed. And remember, when you feel that you are being followed, don't look back, just run for your life.
