Every Saturday night in August the Melbourne Museum is hosting a very special, dino inspired disco in conjunction with their Jurassic World: The Exhibition. See the dinos after dark, but watch out for the crash landing disco ball meteorite!
Bring your best prehistoric moves and prepare to dance your bones off, because the guest DJ is going to be rocking out some feet stomping tunes to keep you moving all night. This is going to be the BIGGEST event in town.
This special evening performance of Jurassic World: The Exhibition is a real treat. You can journey through the exhibit between 6pm – 7pm only and places must be pre-purchased. Session times run every quarter hour on Saturday 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th August 2016.
You will find the Jurassic World: The Exhibition and disco in the Touring Hall at the Melbourne Museum, Nicholson Street, Carlton. There is onsite parking at the museum and surrounding street parking.
Ticket prices are $34 for adults, $22 for children, $26 concession and $90 for a family of 4. Children under 3 are free. Transaction/booking fees apply. For group bookings call 13 11 02.
Jurassic World: The Exhibition is a fully interactive exhibition based on the movie, Jurassic World, a trademark and copyright of Universal Studios and Amblin Entertainment. You will feel as though you've actually stepped into Jurassic Park when you come face to face with some life sized, and very life like dinosaurs. You will meet a Pachyrhinosaurus, Brachiosaurus and T-Rex, among others.
My best advice is DON'T HURRY THROUGH. Whilst visually spectacular and very exciting, the exhibit is not large. In fact, it ends rather abruptly leaving you wanting much much more. So take your time and linger by exhibits for as long as possible.
