Kick-start your Weekends with Dinosaurs and Drinks
Winter doesn't mean you need to lock yourselves away until the sun warms your soul again. Take the opportunity to explore Melbourne's innovative indoor experiences, such as Melbourne Museum's exclusive Jurassic Nights in June.

This is your chance to visit the world premiere of Jurassic World: The Exhibition at Melbourne Museum with the grown-ups of the city. Children are allowed, but most will be ready for bed when the Jurassic spectacle opens every Friday night in June.

Gather your friends or work colleagues and stomp your way into the world of one of the biggest blockbuster movies in history. Enjoy Jurassic World: The Exhibition after dark, with special dino-themed cocktails and tunes spun by special guest DJ Jess McGuire.

If you have yet to visit Jurassic World: The Exhibition, what have you been waiting for? This world-first display, sees Melbourne based Creature Technology Company, famed for the groundbreaking Walking with Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular, bring dinosaurs to life using innovative animatronic technology.

Ride the make-believe ferry to Isla Nublar, where you will come face-to-face with the most authentic looking pre-historics you are likely to meet. Marvel at the towering Brachiosauras, meet the Pachyrhinosauras, design your own dinosaur in The Hammond Creation Lab, and experience the thunderous roar of the King of the beasts; the Tyrannosaurs Rex.

Due to the intimate nature of the exhibition, Jurassic Nights will follow the same allocated session times to view Jurassic World: The Exhibition. The bar will open at 6pm, where you can stay for the duration, but to see the exhibition, you choose your allocated time of 6:30pm, 7pm, 7:30pm or 8pm. At the bar, enjoy a Jurassic World themed cocktail or alcoholic beverage of choice. Tickets for the exhibition start from $22 per child, to $34 for a full paying adult. You must book in advance. Reserve your session time HERE.

To coincide Melbourne Museum's Jurassic Nights, IMAX will screen Jurassic World 3D for one night only, on 10 June, 2016 at 9pm. Kick-start your Queens Birthday Weekend with wino and dinos. Tickets are just $20 for the Jurassic World 3D movie screening, available HERE.
