The dinosaurs have come back to life and someone has put them all in a park. If that sounds a bit like a movie that you might have seen with catastrophic consequences, you don't have to worry. There will be no escaping for these dinosaurs. You won't be in any danger at all. Young children might find the dinosaurs a bit scary, but they will be entranced by all of the things to do and budding palaeontologists will have an absolute ball in the .

Perth's first dinosaur theme park is going to be home to over 20 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. There will be even more attractions at the park, which will be over two hectares long. The dinosaurs are going to be everywhere, and some of them will be hidden in the tree tops. Other ones will be more in your face and could be a bit scary for some visitors to the park. There will even be dinosaur nests to explore.

If you're more interested in digging up fossils, then you will want to head to the Giant Fossil Dig and the Dino Craft Station too. There will be over ten different things to do for kids who like to get involved in the educational side of this park.

Check out the roving entertainers who will help you with any questions you might have. If that isn't enough, then you're in for another treat. The Carnival area will see rides and sideshow games, including the dodgems, and most of them will even be dinosaur themed.

If you get hungry, then there will be food trucks and chill-out zones where you can eat, relax or recharge your batteries before you head out again.

Make sure to check out the dinosaur shop and also have a look at the amazing dinosaur showbags which will be a big hit with the kids.

For the kids, tickets start at $39 if you book early online. If you buy tickets at the gate they will start at $55. Adults are only $15 online, and $20 at the gate. You can always purchase a family pass which is for 2 adults and 2 kids and will set you back $99.

Children's tickets include a lot of different things, including 8 rides, a map, and access to most of the areas, like the dinosaurs, the craft and dig stations and more.

When you arrive at Burswood Park, you will be able to enter from 9am, and the entry times stagger every hour from then. The final entry time is 2pm. And whatever time you enter, you will be allowed to stay until 4pm. The dinosaurs arrive on Friday, the 7th of April and will stay until Tuesday the 25th of April. After that, they will have to head back to the Mesozoic Era.
