Jurassic Creatures, featuring Prehistoric Creatures of the Ice is an interactive walkthrough event at Harbour Town Waterfront in Melbourne. You will have to get in quick though as the extraordinary show will be leaving Melbourne on Sunday 10 April. The interactive exhibition allows children to become paleontologists and explore the ancient world of dinosaurs.

165 million years ago dinosaurs ruled the earth and the exhibition will allow your children to get up close to prehistoric animals including Mammoths, Saber Tooth Tigers and Tyrannosaurus Rex's which move and roar. There are several activities for children to take part in, including dinosaur art and craft, fossil displays, kinetic sandpit and amusement activities. Although the event is better suited to children under 10, be wary if your child is sensitive to loud noises or scares easily.

The moving displays were realistic and incredibly life-like. If your child loves the "Dinosaur Train", they will have the opportunity to meet the dinosaurs from "Dinosaur Train". There are numerous photo opportunities throughout the day and each session runs for 2.5 hours.

Well worth the ticket price, especially if you have children under 10 who love dinosaurs. The interactive aspects of the exhibition are by far its best features.
