Junior Art Adventure is suited for children aged 4 to 10 years old. This activity will be filled with interactive activities and games to inspire young creatives to become art makers and maybe art experts! Each adventure will focus on a different artwork and runs for approximately 30 minutes.

Located at 220 Quay Street, Rockhampton, this event will be held on Tuesday 9 April 2024 and Thursday, 11 April 2024 starting from 9.30 am to 10 am, Rockhampton Museum of Art staff will take you on a journey through the art museum to explore our exhibitions. Hear some mysterious stories about the artwork alongside some fun facts about Rockhampton Museum of Art collection. After the tour children and carers are invited to continue art-making in program room spaces.

Children must be accompanied on the tour by an adult. Please note there are stairs and at times the tour is quite energetic to give our Junior Adventurers the best experience possible.
