This year the theme is Tropicana - Heart, Harvest and Hoopla, which represents the schools commitment to the local community, their growing gardens and fruit orchard, and celebration of such a dynamic school.

The School with Heart will be holding it's annual fete on
4th May. The parents and teachers at this school go all out to make their fetes a Community Event. Mark it on your calendar now.
The wonderful Red Boots Photographic is sponsoring the 2014 Junction Park State School Fete. They are offering the chance to win a two hour photo shoot either on location or in home, plus the winner will receive 20 high resolution edited jpg images from the shoot, valued at $500. What a great prize.
Keep an eye on their Facebook page for information on raffle tickets and prizes. There will be an opportunity to buy tickets before the fete or they will be available all day at the fete.

If you are a Trash and Treasure junkie, do not miss this fete. They have acres of books, clothes and toys. Each year I have found good buys. Towards the end of the day you'll get huge bargains. I also got a big box of plants last year at a fraction of nursery prices.
