Taking a step back into time gone by, teachers from
Dance Kaleidoscope have volunteered to teach some display dances. Today I watched some Year 2s practising a Maypole Dance that they have been learning for weeks. I was amazed at their skill. They are delightful to watch and are eager to show off their abilities - at 11am.
Meanwhile, Year 4/5 are learning some Colonial Dances."Mr Cosgill's Delight" will be performed by the 2 classes and a smaller group will demonstrate their skill with "Zephyrs and Flora". They have picked up the steps and timing remarkably quickly.
Dancers from Dance Kaleidoscope will perform at midday.
Parents of the Theme Team have been busy making doily banners and decorations, crocheted heart necklaces and goodness knows what else. Check out the 'bombed' trees!
See you there!
